Spectators pack New Smyrna Beach for Lipton Cup Sailing Regatta

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — The 10th annual Lipton Cup Sailing Regatta attracted dozens of spectators to New Smyrna Beach Saturday.

Organizers with the Smyrna Yacht Club said the event has grown each year.

About 30 boats were entered in the cup and they were split up into three different divisions.

Two races were held today and another one will be held Sunday at 11 a.m.

Winners in the three divisions will have their names engraved on a historic Lipton Cup.
