ORANGE COUNTY, Fla — SunRail riders in south Orange County are delayed while Florida Highway Patrol determines what caused a crash on railroad tracks near Orange Avenue and Lancaster Road on Monday morning.
FHP and Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the area at around 6 a.m. Monday.

From Skywitness 9, you could see the train stopped and a gray vehicle with damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.
SunRail riders faced a 45- to 90-minute delay while crews removed the vehicle off the tracks.

According to FHP, the gray sedan attempted to turn onto Orange Avenue but mistakenly turned onto the train tracks.
The SunRail train was unable to stop and hit the vehicle that was stuck on the tracks.
Troopers reported minor injuries to the driver in the sedan and no injuries to the 30 passengers on the train.
