Suspected robber caught in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating an armed robbery and attempted carjacking.

Police said the suspect, Michael Donegal, robbed a woman as she got out of her car at the Metro Place apartments near Kirkman Road around 3 a.m. Sunday.

They said Donegal grabbed the victim’s keys, but officers were able to catch him after a brief chase through the apartment complex.

No one was hurt.

Donegal is being held at the Orange County Jail.
