Scene cleared after suspicious package found in Waterford Lakes shopping plaza

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies and Orange County Fire Rescue are investigating after a suspicious package was found at the Waterford Lakes Town Center Saturday evening.

Officials say somebody found it under a table at the Marble Slab Creamery ice-cream store.

The bomb squad inspected the package and then cleared the scene.

Officials have not confirmed if any stores were evacuated.
