Daytime highs should reach the mid-90s with the heat index in the triple digits.

Much of Central Florida will have a 40% chance of partly cloudy skies in the early-mid afternoon.
On Friday, expect scattered clouds with a 40% chance of an isolated thunderstorm developing later in the day.

Looking ahead to the weekend, there is potential for scattered thunderstorms over much of the area with highs in the upper 90s.
