LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers have identified two men killed in a fatal crash in Lake County Tuesday evening.
The three-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of SR 46 and CR 437 in Sorrento shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Killed in the crash were Ryder Medlin, 19, of Mount Dora and Larry Culp, 62, of Sanford.
According to troopers, Medlin was driving westbound on S.R. 46 when his SUV crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the front of Culp's westbound pickup truck.
Troopers said Culp's truck then struck a car being driven by Lisa Garbers, 52, of Longwood. Garbers suffered minor injuries in the crash.
