ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said it is investigating separate crashes that left two motorcyclists dead in Orange County on Thursday night.
Troopers said the first crash happened around 9:10 p.m. in Edgewood at Hansel Avenue and Mary Jess Road.
The crash involved a car and a motorcycle, troopers said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second crash happened at 9:20 p.m. on Colonial Drive at Avalon Boulevard, troopers said.
Troopers said the crash involved a vehicle and a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
The westbound lanes of Colonial Drive were shut down due to the crash.

Troopers said the crashes are not connected.
