Turnpike reopens in Osceola County after truck fire

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A truck fire closed the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike in Osceola County Tuesday afternoon.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said a truck caught fire around 1 p.m. and all of the southbound lanes were closed while emergency crews work at the scene south of U.S. 192.

Southbound traffic was stopped on the Turnpike at mile marker 241. Troopers said all southbound traffic was diverted from the Turnpike at Exit 244.

All of the lanes were reopened at around 2 p.m.

Trooper did not report any injuries in the incident.
