• Two rafters rescued from Indian River


    TITUSVILLE, Fla. - Two people were rescued from the Indian River in Titusville Wednesday night.

    Officials said the two people went rafting early in the afternoon and had not returned.

    Florida Fish and Wildlife officials said a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office helicopter spotted the two rafters just after 10 p.m.

    The men were taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
