UCF career fair lends hope to hospitality students, alumni in tough economy

Students and alumni of UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management will have a chance to find a job Thursday.

In a time of furloughs and job loss, including another round of layoffs at Walt Disney World, the school plans to hold a virtual career fair.

Eyewitness News spoke to UCF Instructor Steve Brinkman about potential career opportunities for hospitality and tourism workers who are job hunting in the midst of a pandemic.

Brinkman said more than two dozen companies, both local and out-of-state, will participate in the online event.

The Career Fair runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 on the Career Fair Plus app and by appointment in the computer lab at the UCF Rosen College campus.
