The United States Post Office is hiring in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — The United States Postal Service is looking to hire new employees for delivery and retail positions across Central Florida.

The USPS’ 10-year-plan, “Delivering for America,” is focused on building a more stable and empowered workforce.

According to a news release, USPS offers competitive wages and benefits, and career advancement opportunities with a dynamic, forward-thinking organization committed to delivering for the American people.

Current job openings include:

  • Rural carrier associate
  • Assistant rural carrier
  • City carrier assistant
  • Postal support employee

If you are interested in these positions, you can apply at www.usps.com/careers through July 24.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
