Video shows OPD officers protecting family of geese crossing busy street

Two Orlando police  officers who were in Tallahassee to attend State of Florida Law Enforcement Memorial ceremonies came to the rescue of a family of geese.

Sgt. Darron Esan and Sgt. Rich Ruth noticed the geese in the street, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The two stepped into the street and stopped traffic while the geese made their way safely across the roadway.

Their act was caught on video.

The two were in town for a ceremony commemorating officers killed in the line of duty.
