ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Surveillance video and a picture have been released Thursday in hopes of finding a person of interest who may know something about a deadly shooting and stabbing near the Florida Mall.

Dale Eric Floren, 56, was found April 14 around 10 p.m. in the parking lot area on the mall property, where construction material was stored for work being done at the Florida Mall.

Floren went to the mall property shortly after it had closed for construction work, deputies said.

"He was doing his job simply and somebody brutally murdered him. (He) just needs to be brought to justice," said Brandon Floren, the victim's nephew.

The man, dressed in black clothes and a hoodie, went to an ATM at a convenience store near the murder scene, deputies said. Investigators wouldn't release the name of the store.

A motive has not been released in the homicide.

Floren had a sister and was the youngest of three brothers, his family said.

There is a $5,000 Crimeline reward for anyone with information about the homicide. People can call 1-800-423-8477 for tips.

Brian Hanson, the General Manager of the Florida Mall released a statement: "We maintain a strong relationship with the Orange County Sheriff's Office and are grateful that they were able to capture this footage.  Security is our top priority and we are asking for the community's help in identifying the person of interest in the video.  We urge the public to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office if they have any information related to this situation."
