DELAND, Fla. — Deland police are looking for leads after bullets flew by officers responding to call about a disturbance with a firearm Sunday night.
Three Deland police officers were responding to a call on East Kentucky Avenue just before 7 p.m. when they heard gunshots ring out.

The incident was captured on police bodycams.
One of the bullets passed so close to the one of the officers, his camera picked up the sound of it zooming past.

Officers raced for cover, then went though the neighborhood trying to find where the shots originated.
A search of the area turned up nothing.

Police say it’s unclear at this time if the officers were the intended targets of those bullets.
