VOLUSIA COUNTY,Fla. — Daytona Beach Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred on Madison Avenue in between North Segrave Street and U.S.-1 around 1:20 a.m.

According to police, a witness said one of her family members was shot from a vehicle driving by the area. That vehicle had left before our officers got on scene.
Police said when they arrived they located a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm. Paramedics took him to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment.

Police have not released a description of the vehicle.
