DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Beach police walked with protesters at City Island on Thursday afternoon.
Hundreds marched together to call for change against police brutality and injustice.
“This protest is not just a walk," said Victor Gooden, president of the Daytona Beach Black Clergy Alliance. “It’s about making a change, a change of heart, a change how those poor disenfranchised, how the system sees them so we can change the overall, our country, so you and I can be on a level playing field.”
