VP nominee Tim Kaine campaigns in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine will continue stumping in Florida on Saturday.

The senator tried to turn out the youth vote Friday afternoon during a stop at Florida Tech in Melbourne.

Kaine also touched on jobs, saying Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s economic plan gives more tax breaks to the middle class, and will grow the economy.

“The difference between a Clinton presidency and a Trump presidency is 14 million jobs,” he said. “That’s the different between a ‘you’re hired’ president in Hillary Clinton and a ‘you’re fired’ president in Donald Trump.”

Kaine will make two stops Saturday in Fort Myers and Sarasota, before heading to St. Petersburg to join rock star Bon Jovi at a concert.
