Water main break closes roadway to traffic near Longwood

LONGWOOD, Fla. — A large water main break has left several Longwood residents without water Thursday afternoon.

Officials said traffic along Wildmere Avenue between U.S. 17-92 and Grant Street has been affected while crews worked to fix the break.

The City of Longwood said residents along East Wildmere Avenue, Hanging Vine Point, Lees Lakeside Cove and Tidewater Lane were all affected.

Officials did not say what caused the break or when they hoped to complete repairs.
