Weather looks 80% favorable for Artemis I launch Monday

But an isolated shower or storm could still redevelop into Monday morning, meteorologist George Waldenberger said.

And our Severe Weather Center 9 team will be watching for any coastal showers that can develop near the Artemis launch and threaten a lightning strike early in the morning.

Weather looks to be 80% favorable for the start of the launch, down to 60% favorable for the end of the launch.

A drier pattern is expected to come later in the workweek.
