Well-dressed robber sought after beating Orange County clerk

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators need the public's help finding a man accused of a violent attack at an Orange County business.

A surveillance camera captured the man beating a 62-year-old female clerk at the Public Storage on 45th Street in Orange County Wednesday morning.

Authorities said the well-dressed man pretended to be a customer before he pulled a mask over his face, flashed a gun and a knife, and then demanded money.

The clerk obliged, but the man repeatedly punched her on the head, took her cellphone and cash, and then ran.

The victim told deputies the African-American man is about 45 years old, measures between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a medium, fit build.

The man was wearing a short dreaded wig, a white dress shirt and a tie and dress slacks, He was carrying a blue fabric shopping bag.

A coworker told WFTV the woman was OK, despite her injuries.
