Winter Park software company using system designed for construction to help with disease control in hospitals

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A Winter Park software company is leasing out devices designed to help monitor dust and drywall at construction sites to help disease control within local hospitals.

Building Optimization Systems officials said the device is designed to detect a so-called leak by a change in pressure when those materials escaped the construction site.

Now, they make sure air from rooms where COVID-19 patients are being housed does escape into general hospital ward.
