Worker dies after industrial accident in Orange County, officials say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla — A worker died after an industrial accident where he fell into machinery Thursday, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said.

Officials said the 44-year-old man was working at Majestic Marble and Granite on Orange Avenue in the Edgewood area when the incident occurred.

The victim fell into a cleaning machine and was later pulled out by co-workers, firefighters said.

Officials said the victim’s co-workers performed CPR on him after he went into cardiac arrest from the trauma.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Investigators said the business has been shut down as police investigate the incident.
