Zimmerman's attorney upset over release of witness names

SANFORD, Fla. — George Zimmerman's attorney is firing back at the state for posting the names and addresses of at least seven witnesses in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman is accused of killing Martin in February, near his home in Sanford. Zimmerman claims the shooting was in self-defense as Martin attacked him.

Earlier this month, prosecutor Bernie De La Rionada submitted the names in a public file.

In an online post on Sunday, Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, said he and the state agreed in April not to publicly post witness names.

O’Mara then posted the same documents, but he redacted the names.

On Tuesday, prosecutors will question two Sanford officers about the night of the shooting.
