Man Accused Of Recording People In Bathroom

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A man is facing charges Tuesday for allegedly setting up an iPod to secretly record people in the bathroom of a dance studio in Osceola County. Deputies say Juan Reyes planted the small electronic device inside a bathroom in 5678 Studio.

It was there for more than 10 minutes and recorded one of the owners undressing. She found the camera and turned it over to authorities.

"Thank God it did get into the proper hands at the right time," said co-owner Michael Pozar.

Reyes told detectives he set up the iPod to track down the person who stole his son's drumsticks.

"It was very sloppily done and it was a first offense for him, so I don't think he was schooled at that," said Pozar.

The images taken from the iPod will be submitted into evidence.

Reyes is being charged with video voyeurism.
