Marion County man accused of giving children drugs may have more victims, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for help in finding victims after a man was arrested on child abuse and drug charges.

Deputies arrested Frank Calabria, 64, on suspicion of child abuse, delivering drugs to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and depriving custody of a minor.

According to the arrest report, deputies responded to a home in reference to an aggravated battery call.

A child from Ocala who had been reported missing was found inside the home.

In an interview with investigators, the child claimed Calabria gave them Xanax and cocaine and would make sexually inappropriate comments.

Calabria told detectives that he knew the victim had been reported missing but denied giving the child drugs.

Deputies said that based on interviews, they believe there may be more victims.

They are asking anyone who knows or may have had contact with Calabria to call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 352-732-9111.
