KEY WEST, Fla. — More than 100 Haitian migrants are safe after being rescued from a sailboat off the Florida Keys.

The open-air sailboat was found grounded and packed with 113 people Saturday.

Coast Guard leaders said the migrants were apparently fleeing the chaos in their nation.

No drownings were reported.

All of them were taken to a detention center by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.
