Orange County considers permanent memorial for Pulse shooting victims

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Board of Commissioners said on Tuesday, they want to discuss how to memorialize the victims killed during the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Forty-nine people died and 53 were injured when Omar Mateen gunned down the clubgoers on June 12.

Memorials have been growing at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando Regional Medical Center and the Pulse nightclub.
