None — I joined the Channel 9 Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter in June of 2009. Since then, I've covered a number of high-profile stories including the deadly monorail crash at Walt Disney World, Tropical Storm Claudette, University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow's concussion, the kidnapping and murder of 7-year-old Somer Thompson in North Florida, the Downtown Orlando office shooting, the car crash involving professional golfer Tiger Woods and the deadly killer whale attack at SeaWorld Orlando.

My first on-air job was at a TV station in Bangor, Maine, in my home state. After that, I headed south and worked in Fort Myers, Florida. I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During my time there, I interned at the CBS and ABC stations.

I grew up in a small town near Portland, Maine. I knew at an early age that the news business was my calling. My parents always had the news on in our home. Since becoming a reporter, I've had the chance to meet all kinds of people-from everyday citizens to world leaders-and convey their stories to the community.

In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends and sitting by the pool.
