TUCSON, Ariz. — A man was detained after claiming he had a bomb in his vehicle and leading two agencies on a chase that began at Tucson International Airport, authorities said.
According to officials with the Tucson Police Department, the pursuit began at the airport when authority police began following the man after he drove onto the airfield, KVOA reported.

Tucson police said they picked up the chase when the man left the airport and drive into the city, KNXV reported. At some point the man called 911 and told a dispatcher he had a bomb in the car, KGUN reported.
Police said they stopped the vehicle but did not find any explosives, KNXV reported.
Jessie Butler, a spokeswoman for Tucson International Airport, told the television station there were no known injuries, damages to the airfield or flight delays because of the incident.
