Fans of Luke Perry and the show “Riverdale” be sure to set your DVRs.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told his Twitter followers that this week’s episode of the teenage drama is the final appearance of Perry, Entertainment Tonight reported.
Perry died nearly two months ago after suffering a massive stroke, People magazine reported.
He was 52.
Aguirre-Sacasa tweeted about the scene, saying “Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son.”

The show also planned to deal with Perry’s death, said Cole Sprouse, who appeared on the show with the former “90210” star, during an appearance on “The View.”
“I can’t go too much into the spoilers of it, but we do have something planned narratively,” the Jughead Jones actor said, according to ET.
