Amanda Lynn Toth is accused of making multiple hoax bomb threats, police said.

A New Jersey woman is accused of making multiple hoax bomb threats to a McDonald's in Sussex County on Monday, using a phone app to try to disguise her telephone number, NJ.com reported.

According to police, Amanda Lynn Toth, 26, of Wantage, is charged with causing false public alarm, identity theft and cyber harassment, the website reported.

Police in Franklin Borough received a report of a bomb threat around 9:30 a.m. Monday. According to NJ.com, the threat was texted to the owner of the franchise and an employee. The message said people would be hurt at the fast-food restaurant that day, police said.

The restaurant was evacuated and no explosives were found, NJ.com reported. However, another employee reported receiving a threat via text at home. That residence was also searched and no explosives were found, the website reported.
