According to WTSP and WFLA, the incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Monday on Heathrow Avenue in Spring Hill, about 50 miles north of Tampa. Hernando County deputies responded to the home after receiving a 911 call with apparent gunfire in the background, Sheriff Al Nienhuis said. Authorities found three people, who were believed to be related, dead inside, the news outlets reported.

Just three hours earlier, deputies had responded to the same home to investigate a possible domestic dispute involving the eviction of a family member, Nienhuis said. The deputies left after they “explained the eviction process,” the sheriff added.

Nienhuis said investigators believe the shooting was a double-murder suicide, WTSP reported. No further details, including the victims’ names, were immediately available.
