4 arrested after viral video shows 3-year-old smoking pot

PIKE COUNTY, Miss. — A viral Snapchat video has resulted in four arrests and Child Protective Services in Mississippi taking custody of a 3-year-old.

An investigation launched after someone provided authorities with the video which revealed that Anna Waldron, William Albright, and Kalie Green allowed a 3-year-old child to smoke marijuana on more than one occasion and that the child was given the drug by an adult, WLBT reported.

Waldron, the child’s mother, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child and conspiracy to distribute marijuana, WAPT reported.

Albright and Green were also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child, while Albright was also charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of a game animal in captivity, the TV station reported.

Samantha Dykes was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks cooperated in the investigation.

Child Protective Services has custody of the child, WLBT reported.
