MANCHESTER, Tenn. — After Bonnaroo was canceled for two years in a row, organizers announced it would return this summer with headliners including Stevie Nicks and Tool.
On its website, Bonnaroo announced the festival would be held June 16-19 in Manchester, Tennessee, and tickets would go on sale Thursday, Jan. 13 at 12 p.m. CT.
Bonnaroo was forced to cancel the 2020 festival because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and 2021′s festival was canceled when severe flooding left the festival site unusable, CNN reported.
The lineup, posted on Bonnaroo’s website and its social media networks, includes a variety of genres, with J. Cole, Robert Plant and Alison Kraus on Friday, Tool and Ludacris on Saturday, and Stevie Nicks and Machine Gun Kelly on Sunday. Nicks will be the first-ever female headliner for the music festival, The Tennessean reported.
This year’s festival will feature JamTrak, an on-site transportation system that will be free for attendees, and will also feature upgrades to the camping area, Billboard reported.
Tickets start at $320 for four-day general admission, CNN reported.
Bonnaroo’s website has a section for COVID-19 policy and entry requirements, but currently, it says that “preventative health measures … may be required for this show,” and promises details of more detailed measures that will be announced later.
