Coronavirus: Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande release duet to help children’s cause

Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande will blend their voices in a duet for a good cause.

The singers announced Friday they are releasing the joint single, “Stuck With U,” to benefit the First Responders Children’s Foundation, Billboard reported. The song will be released Friday and is already available for pre-order.

The track is the first of several singles that will be released to benefit charitable organizations from the SB Projects operated by the singers’ manager, Scooter Braun.

“I’m so excited to announce that my friend Justin Bieber and I have partnered with SB Projects and First Responders Children’s Foundation on this little project here,” Grande said in a statement. “We’re very excited about this for so many reasons. We hope we make a big difference with this and we hope it uplifts you and makes you feel happy and that you love it as much as we do. We’ve had a really great time working on this and we’re so excited for you to hear it.”

In the same statement, Bieber said, “More than ever, we are seeing the selfless, tireless and amazing work that doctors, nurses and health care providers give to the world every day. It is our hope we can lend our voices to raise awareness and give much-needed support for them and their families. It’s my honor to come together with my friend Ariana and our SB Projects family to try and do some good."

Braun said his project is aimed at thanking people on the front lines who are battling the coronavirus pandemic, Entertainment Tonight reported.

“They are the everyday heroes and now more than ever they and their families deserve our support,” Braun said in a statement.

Grande and Bieber have teamed up before, singing "What Do You Mean (Remix)” in 2015, Billboard reported.
