NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A New York ice cream shop is trying to get dogs out of shelters and into homes.
De Dee’s Dairy in Niagara Falls has started #AdoptAPupInACup promotion where dairy workers add a photo of an adoptable dog to a cup of vanilla soft-serve topped with a dog bone, WIVB reported.
The Pup Cup is also pulling double duty, not only by adding the photos of the dogs who need homes but also raising money for the Niagara County SPCA with $1 from every cup going to the shelter.
It isn’t just an ice cream world for shelter dogs, an area pizza shop is also featuring fido on its pizza boxes, WKBW reported.
