According to KTLA and City News Service, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles announced Monday that Ryan Michael Reavis, 39, of Lake Havasu, received a 131-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to a federal charge of fentanyl distribution late last year.

Authorities believe that Reavis distributed counterfeit, fentanyl-laced oxycodone to West Hollywood resident Cameron James Pettit, 30, who is accused of supplying the pills to Miller shortly before the 26-year-old rapper died from an accidental overdose on Sept. 7, 2018, CNS reported. Officials said Westwood resident Stephen Walter, 49, who is accused of directing Reavis to distribute the pills, also pleaded guilty to a fentanyl distribution charge, according to the news service.

Walter has not yet been sentenced, CNS reported. Pettit’s case is still pending, authorities said.

Officials said Miller, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, had fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his system when he died, The Associated Press previously reported.
