MUNSTER, Ind. — A man dressed in a white hazmat suit robbed an Indiana bank on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
According to Munster Police Department spokesperson Lt. John Peirick, the man walked into a Fifth Third Bank wearing the white suit, blue hard hat, goggles and a mask covering his face from his nose to his chin.
According to Peirick, the man presented a teller with a note demanding cash and implied he was armed, according to The Times of Northwest Indiana.

The man then fled the scene, although it was unclear what direction he took upon leaving the bank, the newspaper reported.
Police released surveillance images of the man and asked anyone with information to call Munster Police Department Detective Mark Ashcraft at 219-836-6678 or email him at mashcraft@munster.org.
