“Mighty Ducks” actor Shaun Weiss marked a real-life triumph this week.
According to People magazine and “Entertainment Tonight,” the 43-year-old former child star, best known for his role as Greg Goldberg in the iconic film series, took to Instagram to say he has been sober for two years following his struggles with methamphetamine addiction.
In one post, Weiss thanked his followers for their love and support. Another included before-and-after images of Weiss along with the phrase, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with 12 amazing steps.”
After drug-related arrests in 2018 and 2020, Weiss underwent rehabilitation and now lives in a sober-living home, People and “ET” reported. Friend Drew Gallagher told People that Weiss also has been doing some standup comedy.
