HARTFORD, Conn. — Motorists on a Connecticut interstate were doing double-takes on Wednesday.
A sign on westbound Interstate 84 in Hartford directs drivers to take Exit 45 to “Flatbnsh Avenue,” WTNH-TV reported.
The proper spelling for the exit is “Flatbush,” according to the television station.
As for anyone wondering: the exit will still lead to Flatbush Avenue in Hartford. https://t.co/5rzydOHvAj

The spelling gaffe was discovered by WTHN photojournalist Ken Melech, who took a photo of the sign, according to the television station.
It is unclear how long the sign had been on the interstate.
A spokesperson for the Connecticut Department of Transportation told WTNH that the agency was aware of the mistake and that a new sign has been ordered.
