Investigators with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office told WAFB that Lionel Stone fired shots at his ex-girlfriend’s new partner.

Detectives said the two men have an ongoing feud. Stone drove up to the apartment complex and then called the intended victim to come outside, before shooting at him multiple times and leaving the scene, WBRZ reported.

The victim told police he has an ongoing feud with Stone, who had previously threatened to “shoot the house up,” WAFB reported.

Arrest documents obtained by WBRZ say the victim called Stone while sheriff’s deputies were present to ask why Stone shot at him, and Stone replied: “You walked outside with your head down. I spared you when I shot at you. I’ll spin at you again.”

Stone was taken to jail on a $500,000 bond.
