Tyler Sanders, ‘Just Add Magic: Mystery City’ star, dead at 18

Former child actor Tyler Sanders, best known for his starring role on “Just Add Magic: Mystery City” died Thursday at the age of 18, and a cause of death has not been released.

“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time,” Sanders’ agent, Pedro Tapia, wrote in a statement issued Friday confirming the actor’s death, NBC News reported.

Although Sanders was best known for his Emmy-nominated performance in Prime Video’s “Just Add Magic,” he recently made guest appearances on “9-1-1: Lone Star” and appeared on “Fear the Walking Dead” in 2017, Variety reported.

According to NBC, Sanders appeared as Leo in Amazon’s “Just Add Magic” in 2019 and brought the character back for the show’s 2020 spinoff series, “Just Add Magic: Mystery City.”

Sanders also appeared in 2019′s “The Reliant” with Kevin Sorbo and completed filming his role in “The Price We Play,” starring Stephen Dorff, before his unexpected death, Variety reported.
