Jaguars open 2013 season with 4 of 6 on road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars play four of their first six games on the road in 2013, the first time that's happened in franchise history.

The Jaguars open the season at home against Kansas City on Sept. 8, then hit the road for consecutive West Coast games against Oakland and Seattle. The team doesn't plan on returning to Jacksonville in between.

Jacksonville also plays back-to-back road games against St. Louis (Oct. 6) and Denver (Oct. 13) early in the season.

The Jaguars play a previously announced home game in London on Oct. 27 against defending NFC champion San Francisco before getting three consecutive homes games in December -- against Houston, Buffalo and Tennessee. The game against the Texans is the team's only prime-time game.

Jacksonville finishes the season Dec. 29 at Indianapolis.
