Rays blank Yankees 12-0 in lone Disney Spring Training game

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rays blanked the New York Yankees 12-0 on Tuesday afternoon at ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Rays have been practicing at Disney since the beginning of Spring Training because their usual home in Port Charlotte was damaged from Hurricane Ian. Tuesday’s game was their only game at Disney before they head back to Tropicana Field.

Rays starter Jeffrey Springs pitched two perfect innings with three strikeouts and got the win for Tampa Bay.
