• FHP: Motorcyclist killed after colliding with car in Orange County

    ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning after he collided with a car on Consulate Drive and State Road 528 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

     

    FHP said Walter Wade, 56, of Orlando was driving east on Consulate Drive and attempted to make a left turn onto the SR-528 entrance ramp when he turned into the path of the motorcycle.    

     

    Troopers said the front of the motorcycle hit the car.  

     

    The name of the victim, who was from Bradenton, has not been released.

     

    Charges against Wade are pending.

     

    FHP said the crash was not alcohol related.
