ORLANDO, Fla. - A man is behind bars after a stolen car from Osceola County was found engulfed in flames Sunday on I-4 in Orlando, according to deputies.

Deputies said Mariano Martinez was being tracked in a stolen car by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office before the vehicle ended up on fire.

The car was found on fire at the I-4 eastbound off-ramp to State Road 408 and South Street just after 11 a.m.

Several Orange County deputies and a K-9 were seen gathered near the car as they waited for the Orlando Fire Department to arrive.

The fire was out soon after firefighters arrived.

Deputies said Martinez fled the scene but did not get far before he was found by K-9s units.

Martinez is in jail and facing felony charges, deputies said.
