Monday morning traffic update: Crashes & delays on Central Fla. roads

CENTRAL FLORIDA — WFTV traffic reporter Racquel Asa said, in Lake County, a crash involving a Suburban and an SUV early Monday morning, shut down County Road 48 and Palm Drive in Yalaha.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office said there were injuries reported.

Over the weekend, Florida Department of Transportation crews completed paving work on I-4 at the Fairbanks Avenue curve (Read Story).

However, Monday morning, there were traffic delays on I-4 due to a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle, just after the Fairbanks Curve, officials said. However, as of about 7:35 a.m., traffic began moving.
