LIVE RADAR: Scattered storm moving east; Coastal regions could still receive storms before sunset.

Scattered storms are moving across Central Florida. The west winds have kept the storms mainly streaming from west to east, and although they started strong over the west coast until about Lake County, many have lost their strength as the move over Orange County.

Stronger storms have affected Marion and Volusia Counties. Some storms are still possible along Osceola and Brevard counties in the next hours before sunset.

Temperatures have been very hot and heat indices have surpassed 100 degrees in several spots across Central Florida. Evening temps will drop to the mid-70s, under partly cloudy skies. Rain should not be an issue after sunset.

The heat will continue on Wednesday (and for the rest of the summer). Temperatures hitting the mid-90s and heat indices around 100 to 103 degrees. Make sure to take breaks if you are working outdoors.

There is another chance for afternoon storms on Wednesday.
