Southwestern Alachua County in northern Florida... Central Marion County in northern Florida... * Until 745 AM EDT. * At 546 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding and ponding on roadways along the I-75 corridor from Ocala northward to Gainesville during the morning rush hour. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gainesville, Ocala, Citra, Lynne, Alachua, Archer, University Of Florida, Sparr, Moss Bluff and Lake Weir. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding and ponding of water on roadways. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
