South central Marion County in northern Florida... * Until 915 PM EDT. * At 747 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ocala, Ocklawaha, Silver Springs Shores, Santos and Belleview. Additional rainfall of around an inch is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
